DIRECTIONS:  Really!  You need directions to get to Deals?  OK.  If you’re south of Millerton and north of Simms and Scrub Hill, and you’re on the QH, and there’s this white sand beach about 100' from the highway, and midway there’s a restaurant/bar (which may be open or not), then you’re at Deals.

One of the few beaches that we’ve not actually dipped our toes into!  Now we have stopped to enjoy the view and imbibe a few at the beach side bar when it was open (note, in early 2016 it was closed, hoping this is not permanent).  This is the classic Caribbean side Long Island beach, crescent shaped, 4000' of soft sand, shallow & calm water, and trees lining the waterfront to provide shade.  Probably the only Caribbean beach to have been unscathed by both hurricanes Sandy (2012) and Joaquin (2015).  Very family friendly.  Worth a visit, particularly if the restaurant/bar is open to enjoy an evening sunset
